(lost) Manny Shinwell

Manny Shinwell
Inscription

Manny Shinwell socialist and centenarian was born in a house on this site on the 18th October 1884.
Tower Hamlets Environment Trust

The plaque was not there when we first visited the site. We have returned several times over the years in case a replacement has been erected, but at July 2017 there was still no sign of it. Our picture of the plaque is taken from Derek Sumeray's 'Discovering London Plaques'.
