Plaque

Mel Calman

Inscription

{Above Calman's 'Little Man' cartoon character:}
Mel Calman 1931 - 1994 cartoonist and writer lived here 1931 - 1957.
London Borough of Hackney

Site: Mel Calman (1 memorial)

N16, Linthorpe Road, 64

The brown plaque is difficult to see on the red bricks. It's in the arch above the ground floor bay window.

(When plotting this pin we were misled by the Linthorpe Road in Barnet which very oddly, also runs immediately to the south of a Northfield Road.)
