Site: Mick Jagger and Keith Richards - statues (2 memorials)

DA1, Lowfield Street, 1 - 3, One Bell Corner

Jagger is on the left and Richards on the right. The statue is entitled The Glimmer Twins, a nick-name/pseudonym Jagger and Richards adopted in 1968/9.

These statues have not been universally acclaimed - see the for example. They have also been unfavourably compared to some of the effigies at Madame Tussaud's, in the degree of resemblance they bear to the originals.
