WC2, Cecil Court, 9, Mark Sullivan Antiques

Brought to our attention by who are often one step ahead of us. This was Mozart's first London address and possibly where he composed his first symphony.  Check out the first floor window.  Eight-year old Mozart was touring Europe and stayed here for the four months that he performed in London.  Tickets for his performances were sold from this shop.  Well, not this actual shop since the whole Court was redeveloped in 1894.  More information about the Court and Mozart's stay at .
