Plaque

New River - Park Lane Bridge

Erection date: /6/1931

Inscription

The Park Lane Bridge was demolished and the road widened, June 1931.

On-line we've found the date on this plaque transcribed as 1831, 1881, and 1931, so we returned to make certain. Definitely 1931.

Site: New River - Park Lane Bridge (1 memorial)

N16, Clissold Crescent

The river has been replaced with allotments. The plaque is lost in the foliage but believe us, it is attached to the railings, between the gate and the tree.
