Site: Olympic Way - 1948 plaque (1 memorial)

HA9, Olympic Way - station end

Erected in 1948, originally on Olympic Way, the plaque was relocated in 1993 to a nearby scrubland area just above the Bobby Moore Bridge by Wembley Park tube station. It was rediscovered, in a sorry state of repair, in time for the stadium’s centenary in 2023. It was restored and re-erected in this newly created garden area.
