October 2025: We thank Dr David M. Jacobson who contacted us to explain the wording on the plaque: “After my family loaned the Science Museum the world's first radio set incorporating printed circuit boards, invented and built by Paul Eisler, my wife, Rivka, approached the Anglo-Austrian Society, which agreed to sponsor the blue plaque on our house. Representatives of both the and the Anglo-Austrian Society participated in the unveiling of the plaque. Eisler's radio set is on exhibition in the 'Making the Modern World' gallery of the Science Museum.”
