Mondrian was in a rented room in this lodging house, with shared bathroom, 1938-40.  His room was on the ground floor, at the back.  The carried an interior photo when the flat was up for rent in May 2015 at £475 p.w.

We have visited this area many times, but only recently noticed this well-hidden little plaque.
The layout and wording on this plaque is the same as that on the other plaques we have found for this William Nicholson.
