This building was the town hall for Metropolitan Borough of Greenwich, 1900 - 1939.
Eliot moved here in December 1880 with her new husband, John Cross, and died here just 3 weeks later.
The 'plaque' is to the right of the circular 'City Heritage Award' plaque.
