Red Bull Theatre

Erection date: 22/8/2018

Inscription

Site of the Red Bull Playhouse, c.1605 - 1665, 17th-century theatre.
London Borough of Islington

Seems they found so little information about this theatre that they filled the space on the plaque with tautology (specific dates and '17th century').

Unveiled by Alexander Armstrong, a descendent of Edward Somerset, fourth earl of Worcester, one-time patron of the Red Bull Theatre.
