Plaque

Sir Alfred Munnings - Glebe Place

Inscription

Sir Alfred Munning, President of the Royal Academy, lived here, 1920 - 1922.
{The anonymous plaque maker has left the "s" off "Munnings".}

Site: Sir Alfred Munnings - Glebe Place (1 memorial)

SW3, Glebe Place, 65

A local resident said that this plaque (and the one next door, to William McMillan) is spurious and was erected by developers purely to boost the value of the property. We note that believes that Munnings had a studio here at number 64.
