EC2, Old Broad Street

You have to hand it to these plaque erectors; they can erect a plaque just about anywhere, even in a hidden, difficult to reach corner like this. Well done, lads.

2020: Our colleague Alan Patient wrote: "The retail unit which previously obscured this plaque has gone. It has been replaced by a considerably large development of shops and restaurants. Looking back on Street View, work on this started in about 2016."

2025: At first we thought this plaque had gone but it has been re-erected a few yards to the north.  We must return for new photos.
