Stones on Time Life building

All the has to say about this sculpture is: "On the west elevation is a raised geometrical abstract form in tooled stone." Not even the name of the sculptor.

Site: Time Life building (2 memorials)

W1, Bruton Street, Time Life building

Built 1951–53 as the European HQ of the American Time & Life International. It lost this role to Amsterdam in 1976. Designed by Michael Rosenauer, with interiors by Sir Hugh Casson, Misha Black and designers from the Festival of Britain.

shows the shops that were previously on this site.

This plain modern building has 3 sculptural feature on its elevations: 'The Screen' by Henry Moore on the Bond Street frontage (to the far left in our photo);  'Symbol of Communication' by Maurice Lambert in the fanlight at the entrance, mistakenly titled 'Symbol of Community' in the Listing text (above the blue taxi in our photo); the 'stones' on the Barlow Place elevation (to the far right, and around the corner, so not shown in the photo of the building).
