The Susan Daniel Rose Bed
The roses in this flower bed are named after Susan Daniel who lives in Islington. The rose was introduced at the RHS Chelsea Flower show in 2004 by Harkness Roses. Sales of Susan's roses benefit the charities 'Help for Heroes' and 'The Little Angel Theatre' in Islington. There are beds of Susan Daniel roses planted at La Scala in Milan, amongst other renowned places.
