July 2015 reported that 4 of these plaques (Benny Hill, Tommy Cooper, Sid James and Irene Handl) were stolen just prior to the demolition of the building. "Police say they are investigating the thefts and the other commemorative plaques have been removed for safety."

See the riverfront where these plaques were re-erected, or rather, a whole new set were.
