Valerie Carter - River Walk

Inscription

{Around the Enfield rampant:}
Enfield Preservation Society

In memory of Valerie Carter, President, Enfield Preservation Society, 1997 - 2004.

We're not experts on heraldry but it seems the strange animal in this emblem is actually called an Enfield and it is part of the symbol for the Borough of Enfield. What are the chances of that?
