Plaque

Victoria Hall, Ealing

Erection date: 1888

Inscription

{Relief on the left side:}
Victoria 1837

{Relief on the right side:}
Victoria 1887

We have done some clever picture manipulation and brought the two relief plaques together. In the picture of the building you can see their actual locations. We do like how the foliage threads through the ribbons.

Site: Victoria Hall, Ealing (1 memorial)

W5, Longfield Avenue

This Hall was built as part of the Ealing Town Hall, designed by Charles Jones (1851-1928). The building was opened in December 1888 by the Prince and Princess of Wales (the future King Edward VII and Queen Alexandra).

2020: reports that Ealing Council are planning to sell this Hall even though they don't own it. The local community are campaigning in protest.
