Dedicated in memory of the sacrifices made by the pals of the West Ham Battalion 13/Bn of the Essex Regiment.
Raised December 1914 - Disbanded February 1918
To France November 1915
"Up the Hammers!".

This plaque is similar to one that used to be located at the former West Ham United, Boleyn Ground.
