Adrian Peter Francis Crotty was born in Kilkenny, County Kilkenny, Ireland, a son of Thomas Crotty (b.1917) and Rosaleen Crotty née King (b. c1920), his birth being registered in the 2nd quarter of 1950. His entry on the confirms this information.

His death, aged 24 years, was registered in the 2nd quarter of 1975 in the London City Registration District.

The states (in 2025) that 'He was a native Irishman, an employee of Barclays Bank. Adrian had only been in England for six months, but did not like his job, and was making plans to return to Ireland'.
