Commemorated on a memorial as having died in WW1.

Albert Evans

October 2016: we were contacted by E. Evans who told us "one of the names on the memorial in Harmood Street was Albert Evans who died in 1916. Albert's full story is in the blog at ."  Our photo of Evans is an extract of a group shot there.

Albert, the third child of Frederick and Rose Evans, was always known as Mick. He and his brother Fred both worked at the Chalk Farm bus garage. Mick was 20 when he died. Fred lived into his 90s.

Our thanks to E. Evans for contacting us.
