From we learn that Alexandra Mary Cadogan, daughter of Viscount Chelsea married the 10th Duke of Marlborough in 1921 and died in 1961, before the Duke. Â So she was the bearer of the title Duchess of Marlborough when the Churchill Gardens plaque was unveiled in 1951. Â She was the grand-daughter of the 5th Earl of Cadogan.
