Alfonso López-Pumarejo

Ambassador and President of Colombia. Born in Honda, Tolima, Colombia. He studied at the London School of Economics. He was elected President of Colombia in 1934 and then again in 1942. Appointed ambassador to the United Kingdom. Died at his home, 33 Wilton Crescent.
