One day before the anniversary of the Cable Street battle Mosley's Fascists, now banned from the East End and prevented from wearing uniforms, attempted to march through Bermondsey.  20,000 people gathered to oppose them, erected barricades and serious fighting broke out.  Our picture is of the fighting in Long Lane.  Our thanks to Jamie Davis for this .
