Eel, pie and mash shop. Founded by husband and wife William and Emily Arment, and still run by their descendants. We don't know if our picture shows the real David Jason as 'Del Boy' or whether they got a look-alike to pose for it.

Arments authentic pies, eels and mash. Serving Walworth and London since 1914...
Co-founder of Pret a Manger with Sinclair Beecham, who he met at the Polytechnic of Central London.  Also founded the itsu chain of Asian-inspired restaurants.
On 1 September 1773 A. Bell Booksellers published a volume of poems by Phillis Wheatley. At this time book publishers and sellers were often the same people.
Designed by C. J. Phipps. The picture is taken from Cockspur Street. The building was badly bombed in 1940. Compare and contrast this ornate building with New Zealand House (1963) which is there now.
Worked for the Royal Arsenal Co-operative Society. Was Assistant Secretary to a building committee in 1900 and Secretary in June 1912.
