Brian Weekes

Brian Weekes

Academic, writer and Labour councillor for Camden.

Our colleague Andrew Behan has kindly researched this man: Brian Charles M Weekes was born on 7 November 1935 and his birth was registered in Woolwich. His mother's maiden name was White. On the outbreak of World War Two his name can be found on the register compiled for the purpose of producing National Identity Cards as living at 2 Dartford Road, Dartford, Kent. In May 1994 he was elected as a Labour Party councillor for the Brunswick Ward of the London Borough of Camden and was re-elected four years later in May 1998. He served as the Chairman of the Housing Committee. He died in May 2002 in Camden.
