C. H. Curtis, MBE

Charles Henry Curtis was a botanist. Councillor of Brentford & Chiswick Urban District Council from about 1920 till at least 1935.  Member of the Gunnersbury Park Joint Committee in 1927.

The post-nominals on the plaque identify Curtis as a fellow of the Linnean Society of London and fellow of the RHS. He is mentioned as the inaugural President of the The Orchid Society of Great Britain in 1951.
