Pilot Officer, 133 Eagle Squadron, American. Captain Cecil Meierhoff served in the 21st Squadron, 413 Fighter Group U.S.A.A.F. and was killed in action in the Pacific Theater of Operations.

2025: Donald C. Loux kindly sent us this photograph of Meierhoff. Donald is researching the history of Emporia, Kansas and the photo comes from the 1939 'Sunflower', the yearbook of the Kansas State Teachers College as it was known then.
