David George Wilson

Very little can be found about this man who was killed in the Moorgate tube disaster on 28 February 1975. When his death was registered, as David Wilson, in the 2nd quarter of 1975 in the London City Registration District, his date of birth was, unfortunately, shown as unknown.

The shows him as David Wilson, that his date of death was 4 March 1975 and that he was cremated on 11 March 1975 in the London Borough of Islington. The date 4 March 1975 was probably the date his body was recovered and his death certified.

Probate records show him as David George Wilson of 34 Hume Court, Hawes Street, London, N12 and that when administration of his estate was granted on 6 June 1975 his effects totalled £909.

The lists him as David George Wilson and gives his year of birth as 1957.

He is shown as 'WILSON, DAVID' on the Moorgate tube disaster memorial in Finsbury Square, London, EC2.
