The image, captioned "Denver 'Lucky' Miner", was kindly sent to us by Christine Miner, Denver's niece, along with the following information:
Pilot Officer Denver Eugene Miner was the oldest of 4 sons born to Harry Miner (1896-1948) and Geneva Mae Miner née Crawford (1896-1988) on 19 Nov 1915 in Ridgway, Gallatin County, Illinois, USA. Denver died at the age of 80 on 18 Dev 1995 in Mesquite, Dallas County, Texas, USA and is buried in Goshen Cemetery in Eustace, Henderson County, Texas, USA.
Christine is awaiting Denver's RAF record and hopes to provide more background information for his biography.
