Elizabeth Christina Marsden

Elizabeth Christina Kelly was born on 12 December 1925 in Dublin, Ireland.

As Elisabeth C. Kelly she married Robert A. Marsden in the 3rd quarter of 1957 in the Hackney Registration District, London and they had one child, Denise E. Marsden (b.1960).

Electoral registers in 1961 show her as Elizabeth C. Marsden and together with her husband they were listed at 128 Northchurch Road, London, N1.

She was killed, aged 49 years in the Moorgate tube disaster and her death was registered as Elizabeth Christina Marsden in the 2nd quarter of 1975 in the London City Registration District. These records confirm her date of birth as 12 December 1925. Her body was in the London Borough of Camden.

Probate records show her as Elizabeth Christine Marsden and confirm that she died on 28 February 1975. The records also show that her address had been 32 Skomer Walk, Marquess Estate, Essex Road, London, N1 and that when administration of her estate was granted on 6 May 1975 her effects totalled £2,798.

She is shown as 'MARSDEN, ELIZABETH' on the Moorgate tube disaster memorial in Finsbury Square, London, EC2.

Although there would appear some confusion with the spelling of her name we have opted to use Elizabeth Christina Marsden.
