Elizabeth N. Byers

Elizabeth Norma Byers was born on 17 May 1951, the daughter of Philip G. Byers (1924-2018) and Norma Margaret Byers née Priddle (b.1926) and her birth was registered in the Hendon registration district. Her mother was a children's nurse who had qualified on 23 July 1948 at Southampton Children's Hospital.

Electoral registers show that her parents were living at 9 Coniston Road, London, N10 at the beginning of 1951 but by the end of that year they were at 32 Sydney Road, London, N10 and appeared there on the registers until 1956. Post Office telephone directories list her father at 9 Ardens Way, St Albans, Hertfordshire from 1963.

She died, aged 36 years, on 18 November 1987 in the King's Cross Underground Station fire and the subsquent described her as a single person and a schoolteacher.

Administration of her estate was granted on 26 February 1988. Probate records show her address as 9 Ardens Way, St Albans and her effects did not exceed £70,000.
