Parishioner of St James Upper Edmonton killed in WW1.

2025: Nina Babaie contacted us because Lovell was her grandfather's cousin.  He served in the Sherwood Foresters (Notts and Derby Regiment) and his parents, Charles William and Ellen Lovell, lived at 152, Fore Street (2024: a gents barber shop), opposite and only a few shops away from where the memorial has been erected. He is buried at the Bellacourt Military Cemetery, Riviere, France.
