Fusilier Frederick Rhodes

According to the housed at the National Memorial Arboretum, Croxall Road,  Alrewas, Staffordshire, DE13 7AR, Frederick Rhodes was born on 27 September 1932 and was killed, aged 19 years, on 28 August 1952 while serving with the 1st Battalion, Royal Fusiliers (City of London Regiment), service number 22504461, in the Korean War.

His body was buried in Section 22, Row 9, Grave 1508, in the United Nations Memorial Cemetery, 93 UN pyeonghwa-ro, Nam-gu, Busan, South Korea.

In addition to being shown on the Armed Forces Memorial he is commemorated as 'Fus F Rhodes' on the Royal Fusiliers (City of London Regiment) memorial plaque on the wall of St Sepulchre's Church, Holborn Viaduct, London, EC1.
