Isacher Robert Levy was born on 19 November 1920.
In the England and Wales Register that was compiled on 29 September 1939 he was shown as Robert Levy, a single male, who was born on 19 November 1920 and who was a carpet repairer who had been repatriated from Turkey. He was listed as living at 13 Shepherds Gardens, Shepherds Bush, London, together with: Joseph Levy (b. 20 January 1890) - a married male and a carpet repairer; Ray Levy (b. 18 April 1900) - a married female on unpaid domestic duties; Rahamin Levy (b. 17 March 1893) a married male who had been repatriated from Turkey and Eugenie Levy (b. 18 July 1898) a married female who had also been repatriated from Turkey.
He was living at 32 Sinclair Mansions, Richmond Way, Shepherds Bush, when on 26 October 1940 he was killed as a result of enemy action at The Telegraph Hotel, Shepherds Bush Green, Shepherds Bush. His death was registered as Robert Levy, aged 19 years, in the 4th quarter of 1940 in the Hammersmith Registration District, London and his body was buried in the of the Golders Green Jewish Cemetery, Hoop Lane, London, NW11 7NL.
He is shown as 'ROBERT LEVY' on the Holland Park Synagogue WW2 memorial, attached to the Holland Park Sephardi Synagogue, 8 St James's Gardens, London, W11. He is also commemorated as 'Isacher Robert Levy' on the , that incorrectly gives his age as 20 years and on the that is located in Westminster Abbey.
