Pilot Officer John Keith Alexander was born on 23 August 1912 in Joplin, Missouri, USA, the eldest of the five children of Ernest Earl Alexander (1890-1961) and Gladys Juanita Alexander née Burton (1894-1985).

He joined the Royal Air Force Volunteer Reserve and was attached to their . Our Picture Source gives much information about this man.

He died, aged 70 years, on 16 January 1983 in Deming, New Mexico, USA and was buried in Arlington Memory Gardens, Arlington Memorial Park Cemetery, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, USA.
