Jackie Free

Trombonist. Born Pearcroft Road, Leytonstone. He learnt to play in the local Boys Brigade band, and during his national service in the R.A.F. he played with many service bands. A high spot for him was in 1956, when he got to play alongside Louis Armstrong when he was visiting London.
