Born as Kimberley Ann Reina on 26 May 1962 in Harbor City, Los Angeles, Los Angeles County, California, USA, she was the daughter of Theodore Jay Reina (b.1932) and Betty Ellen Reina née Hulet (1932-2012).
She in 1980 when she took up acting because “she thought there were too many Kimberleys and Kims in the acting field" according to her brother John Reina.

Her married name was Jocelyn Maslac but she was divorced and residing in Osterley, Isleworth, when she died, aged 26 years, on 21 December 1988 whilst working as a flight attendant aboard Pan AM Flight 103 travelling from London (Heathrow) Airport to John F. Kennedy International Airport, New York City, when it exploded over Lockerbie, Dumfries and Galloway, Scotland.
She was at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, 4471 Lincoln Avenue, Cypress, Orange County, California, USA.
