John Addey

The raises some interesting ideas about Addey and his home, Canonbury House, but pinches of salt abound. Perhaps Addey held a meeting at the house in 1982 to arrange the kidnap of the racehorse Shergar. Perhaps General Eisenhower used the house during his affair with his female driver Kay. Perhaps his house was a CIA 'safe house'. Perhaps not.

Facts seem to include the following. The American celebrity chef Kerry Glen Simon (1955 –  2015) was personal chef for John Addey at Canonbury House.  John Addey put Canonbury House up for sale in 1990 but continued living there until his death in the mid-90s. He is not the astrologer with the same name (1920-82).
