John Dudley Carleton was Head Master of Westminster School 1957-70. He was attached to Westminster School throughout his life: educated there, he then became an assistant master, then Master of the Queen's Scholars 1949-1957 and then Head Master.
In WW2 he was attached to Special Forces. Married 1965. Published two books about the School. Buried Westminster Abbey.

Drowned in the 1898 HMS Albion disaster, aged 10. Buried in grave 3 at the memorial in East London Cemetery.
Born Horton, daughter of William Wlllson Yeates. See there for information about her family. Buried in St Michaels churchyard Horton,13 February 1835. Â
Devoted many years of his life to working with young people at Coram's Fields. Died before Spring 1993.
