Katherine C. Bonny

Kate Cleopatra Bonny "Kate". Born Medway (Cliftonville). The family home was Brooklyn Lodge, Albion Road, Cliftonville. She was fatally injured by a bomb dropped in the first daylight raid on Thanet on 13 September 1915 when a German sea-plane dropped ten bombs. Kate was waiting at the gate for her parents to arrive home prior to Yom Kippur. Kate was injured by splinters from the bomb and died four days later in Margate Cottage Hospital.

The family also had a London address 23 City Road, Finsbury (1881) so that probably explains her name being on the Bevis Marks memorial.
