Laurie Cunningham

Footballer. Born Laurence Paul Cunningham in Archway. One of the first black footballers to be selected for the England football team. In 1974 he made his debut for Leyton Orient moving to West Bromwich Albion in 1977, before transferring to Real Madrid in 1979. Killed in a car crash near Madrid. has a post with some great pictures and highlighting Cunningham's dance and fashion background.
