Leslie A. Rhodes

Died following an act of terrorism on 22 March 2017 on Westminster Bridge. Leslie Rhodes, from Clapham, had been visiting St Thomas' Hospital when he was hit by the car driven by the terrorist. The 75-year-old retired window cleaner was taken to King's College Hospital but died the following day from a head injury.

The BBC credit Met Police/Social Media for the photo but it must have been provided by family or friends, to whom we extend gratitude and deep sympathy.

Our colleague, Andrew Behan, adds that Leslie A. Rhodes was born on 15 October 1941, his birth being registered in the 4th quarter of 1941 in the Battersea Registration District, London and his mother's maiden name was Harris.

Electoral registers from 2003 onwards show him listed at 94 Macaulay Road, London, SW4.

According to the his funeral service was held at the North East Surrey Crematorium, Lower Morden Lane, Morden, SM4 4NU.

He is shown as 'Leslie Rhodes' on the memorial plaque attached to Westminster Bridge, London, SW1.
