Lieutenant Keno W. Elmslie

War dead, WW1 i

Commemorated on a memorial as having died in WW1.

Lieutenant Keno W. Elmslie

Born as Kenward Wallace Elmslie in Twickenham. Added to the Teddington memorial with the 1915 deaths.

Andrew Behan has tried to connect this Elmslie with the father of Rev. Elmslie, who also worked in insurance but hit a family of 17 children before he could prove any connection. He does however confirm that the Lloyds of London and the Teddington memorial refer to the same man. is the source of this photo and has a very good resume of Elmslie's life. Andrew says that the day of birth is uncertain: 21 and 31 both given, and the date of death is similarly 3 or 4.
