Mark Gavin Ludvigsen

United Kingdom citizen who died in the terrorist attacks in America on 11 September 2001.

Mark Gavin Ludvigsen was born on 12 May 1969 in Rothesay, New Brunswick, Canada. He was the son of Karl and Christina Ludvigsen and together with his younger sister, Clare, they all moved to New Jersey, USA, when he was young. Educated at The College of William and Mary in Virginia, Williamsburg, Virginia, USA, he was a keen rugby football player developing into a second row forward, later becoming the president of the New York Athletic Rugby Club.

He and his wife, Maureen Kelly Ludvigsen, married in 1998 and they lived in New York, New York, USA.

He was a bond salesman at the investment banking company of  Keefe, Bruyette and Woods and died, aged 32 years, whilst at work on the 89th Floor, South Tower, 2 World Trade Centre, Manhattan, New York, USA.
