United Kingdom citizen who died in the terrorist attacks in America on 11 September 2001.
Martin Michael Wortley was born on 21 November 1971 and his birth was registered in the Redbridge registration district. He was the eldest of the three children of Michael J. Wortley and Celia M. Wortley née Stanton (b.1950). His siblings were twins, Deborah Melanie Wortley and Paul Andrew Wortley (b.1975) whose births were registered in the Epping Forest registration district.
Both he and his wife, Karen, were living in Park Ridge, New Jersey, USA and he was a dealer in interest options for Cantor Fitzgerald.
He died, aged 29 years, on 11 September 2001 at work on Floor 105, North Tower, 1 World Trade Centre, Manhattan, New York, USA.
