Andrew Behan has kindly provided this research: Mary Bridget Cooke was born about 1904. She was a spinster living at 45 Parnell Road, Bow. She was an Air Raid Precautions Nurse and died, aged 36 years, on 18 September 1940 when a high explosive bomb fell on Saunders Ness Road School, Isle of Dogs, London, E.14, that was being used as Auxiliary Fire Service Sub Station No.35U. She was buried on 23 September 1940 at the City of London and Tower Hamlets Cemetery, Southern Grove, London, E3 4PX. 

On 18 November 1941 administration of her estate was granted to Cecilia Mary Cooke, also a spinster, and her effects totalled £128-5s-0d. She is also commemorated in the Civilian War Dead Roll of Honour, located near St. George's Chapel in Westminster Abbey.
