Raymond Care

Colonel Raymond Charles Care was born on 30 March 1918 in Angola, Steuben County, Indiana, USA, the second of the five children of Charles Fleetwood Care (1891-1963) and Francelia Phoebe Care née Markley (1891-1976).

Our Picture source gives details of his military service showing that he joined the where he served as Pilot Officer in , transferred to the USAAF, became a prisoner of war and eventually retired from the USAF with the rank of Colonel in 1963. 

He was married to Louise May King (1920-2009) and died, aged 69 years, on 3 April 1987 in San Antonio, Texas, USA. He was buried on 7 April 1987 in , 1520 Harry Wurzbach Road, San Antonio, Texas.
