Richard Courtney Balding

Richard Courtney Balding

Born Camberwell. Employed as an insurance company director. Edwin Richard, his father, was MD of United Friendly Insurance Company. A refers to UF at 42 Southwark Bridge Road. He died in 1980. According to the plaque he was chair of which ever company built the current office building. All that put together strongly suggests that RCB had been a senior manager at UF offices at the site of the memorial.
