Richmond Michael Jokhan

Richmond Michael Jokhan was born on 14 November 1959, the eldest of the five children of Benny Jokhan (1931-2023) and Bernadine Jokhan née Roberts. His birth was registered as Michael R. Jokhan in the Hackney registration district, London. His siblings were: Wade J. Jokhan (b.1961); Jefferson Jokhan (1963-1996); Benny R. Jokhan (b.1964) and Robert Valentine Jokhan (b.1971).

In the 3rd quarter of 1991 he married Denise P. Charles in the Haringey registration district, London and they had two children: Tamsin Nazareen Jokhan (b.1997) and Titus Richmond Jokhan (b.1999).

He died, aged 60 years, on 7 November 2020 and his funeral service took place at The City of London Crematorium Traditional Chapel, Aldersbrook Road, London, E12 5DQ on 14 December 2020.

He is shown as Richie Jokhan on the memorial at the Mellow Mix Studios at Hackney Picture House, Mare Street, London, E8 and he is also commemorated as such on .
