Pewitt’s cousin, Randy Davis, kindly sent us the photo of Robert (Bobo) Pewitt standing next to his Spitfire. He also sent a photo of the grave stone in Bridgeport, Texas, which reads: “RAF, 133rd American Eagle Squadron Royal Air Force, Pilot Officer Robert L. Pewitt, Feb. 19, 1920 – May 19, 1942”.
